Sustainable Catering Service
When we decided to expand to the catering sector in 2001, we integrated the three Futur tenets of ecological sustainability, fair trade and labour insertion. Our catering service is committed to responsible consumption and in line with the principles of the Slow Food movement, which emphasizes local food traditions and raises awareness of the impact of our food choices on the rest of the world.
What makes our catering service different?
• All products used in our culinary creations are of the highest quality They are locally grown/ produced whenever possible, and at least 60% are organically grown or fair trade products
• All catering jobs use ecologically sound standards such as comprehensive recycling and waste minimization. When there is a need for disposable table ware, Futur catering uses only biodegradable supplies
• Customer safety regulations are strictly adhered to. Our catering is backed with civil responsibility (RC) insurance and fulfills all local sanitation requirements (we are RSIPAC n.26-05492/cat registered). The economic activities (IAE) tax is paid and the HACCP food safety evaluation system is applied to each catering job
• All labour insertion personnel are under contract, have been trained and prepared according to labour reinsertion protocol, and are paid fairly for their work
• Our catering service is capable of handling a wide range of venues, from large festivals and weddings, to chocolate parties, work lunches, on-site film shootings and family events. The catering can be full-menu or simply an appetizer/ aperitif or coffee break-style menu
